test 1: Jean Hiraga Le Monstre class A amplifier With a simple PC audio card from youtube and a low quality speaker:-p

The interconnect cables are short ''cables'' from enamelled wire 1,5mm thickness!

First Tests of Amplifier...

start with 0,5volt DC Bias current

after 40 minutes 0,75 volt dc and 36c with 17c room temperature ! After one hour the temp is 39 Celsius and stop there..(with the temp sensor on the top of heatsink)
Today the sensor goes directly on the mosfet and the temp is maximum 48 Celsius!
The amplifier gives about 35 watts on pure class A and when the new transformer comes with +5 volts and more amperes is gona give 55wats :-)

After some adjustments with the voltage of the two transformers
the second transformer is on the amplifier...

New capacitors pre-load resistant on the ~220

we change the 82k with SMD resistors (but the sound is poor so we go back on film metal)!

The bias current starts from 0.650 and after 20 minutes reach 1.100 amp...

The heat now is on 58,6c and reach 61c after 1 hour...
